Daniel Skuta - Donating Time

Former Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Dan Skuta is a successful business investor with years of experience and multiple endeavors to his name. He lives and works between Texas and Florida, and he has endeavors in each location.

Before becoming a business investor, he played for nearly a decade with the NFL and earned a great name as a professional athlete. He played with the Cincinnati Bengals, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Chicago Bears in addition to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and he was passionate about the game.

Unfortunately, his time was cut short by a severe injury to his hip, which required surgery and a lengthy recovery process. Away from his business investments, former Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Daniel Skuta enjoys volunteering his time with children in need.

One of his businesses – a clothing company – also hosts youth football camps, where he donates his time and shares his knowledge of the game.

Daniel Skuta - Learning to Cook at Home

Daniel Skuta is a busy business professional – someone who devotes much of his time not only to managing his current business ventures, but also to identifying potentially lucrative opportunities for future investment.

Currently invested in such enterprises as two restaurants, a California hemp-growing company and football-related merchandising brand, Skuta enjoys the opportunity to oversee an operation while exploring opportunities for growth and success in other industries.

But though he’s a busy professional, former Jacksonville Jaguars Linebacker Dan Skuta continues to enjoy the opportunity to prepare a home-cooked meal – a skill that can often be intimidating for the home-cooking beginner.

Several basics for learning the art of cooking include:
  • Doing it often. Becoming a good home cook requires a commitment to practice.
  • Reducing clutter. Simplifying and weeding out the tools, pots and pans you need can make the process of learning much less stressful.
  • Start simple. Beginning with simple recipes can provide the foundation you need to learn more complex dishes later on.

Daniel Skuta - Common Mistakes to Avoid When Riding an ATV

Daniel Skuta is fond of riding ATVs. Regardless of whether it’s a day-long fishing trip, a weekend hunting excursion or traveling the expanse of his 700-acre Texas ranch, Daniel Skuta enjoys the thrill of hopping aboard his favorite machine and navigating whatever terrain comes his way.

But as an experienced ATV’er, former Jacksonville Jaguars Linebacker Dan Skuta understands the level of practice and preparation it takes to become a good rider – particularly for those new to the ATV riding experience.

For those considering giving four-wheeling a shot, be sure to take steps to avoid some of the more common mistakes made by beginners, including:
  • Ripping the throttle right from the start. It’s important to remember that most ATVs offer an amazing level of power – something that catches many off guard and which can quickly lead to an accident.

If you’re new to ATV’ing, do your best to avoid the impulse of going at breakneck speed right out of the gate.

  • Neglecting the proper equipment. Many new riders start with a false sense of security, and forgo such proper riding equipment as helmets, goggles, gloves, and boots.

It’s crucial to gear up before your first rider – something that can help you avoid serious injuries and to get the most from your first time out.
